The Fort Nandana in Pakistan

Fort Nandana, situated on the eastern side of the Salt Ranges near Khewra, is an ancient fort with a temple perched on top of a cliff at 500 feet up.

On the foot hill of this fort is the village Bhaganwalla. One has to walk for approx. 2 km, then climb a narrow passage to reach the fort.

Al-Biruni, famous Muslim scholar, measured the earth circumference (11th Century) from this fort.
